Call for Submissions — Issue No. 2 | Winter, 2026
Theme: Identity in the 21st Century
We are now accepting submissions for the second issue of our seasonal literary journal, publishing in both print and digital formats in Winter of 2026. For this second issue, we are specifically seeking submissions that engage with the theme of identity in the 21st century. This might involve essays, fiction, or visual art exploring how digital landscapes fracture, amplify, or distort self-perception; experimental pieces where characters or narrators confront multiple, contradictory realities; art or poetry mapping the cartography of belonging in an unstable world; essays reflecting on the tension between personal memory and collective narrative; engaged literature that interrogates moral identity and the ways in which we are complicit in global systems; speculative fiction or art exploring cyborg selves, digital consciousness, or the ethics of extended cognition; or works that examine how a person exists and acts in this moment, with all its hyperconnectivity, displacement, and technological complexity. We also seek submissions that engage with or respond to works published in the debut issue. We welcome submissions across a range of genres, including:
Essays (literary, philosophical, political, that encourage readers to see the world differently or take up action) — up to 7,000 words
Engaged Poetry — up to 5 poems (or 10 pages total)
Short fiction — up to 5,000 words
Hybrid forms / prose poetry / visual texts
Art & Photography — high-resolution images, 300 dpi or higher
Interviews & Dialogues — previously unpublished or original conversations
